Instructions for TeleNav Pedometer
TeleNav Pedometer lets you create and share your route for walking, running, and biking. You can track the distance you traveled and calories you burned.
1. Go to http://www.telenav.com and click on the “Maps & More” tab at the top of the screen.
2. On the Maps & More page, click on “Hot Tools” and choose “Pedometer.”
3. There are two options on the Pedometer left navigation panel:
• Create Routes – Draw a new route on the map.
• Local Routes – Type in an address to see routes others have shared.
Create Routes
1. Choose a mode for your route:
• Along Street – Use the available streets on the map to trace the shortest route from Point A to Point B.
• Straight Line – Trace a straight line from Point A to Point B.
2. Double-click on the map to draw your route.
HINT: If you make a mistake, use “Undo” to clear the route points one step at a time or “Reset” to clear the entire route from the map.
3. You can optionally use “Calorie Counter” to see approximately how many calories you will burn, depending on whether you bike or run. Just enter your weight and pick a mode of travel.
4. Enter a name or description for your route. You can select whether the route is best for biking, running, or both.
5. Click Save to make your route publicly available for others to view on TeleNav’s “Map’s & More” Pedometer.
