TeleNav needs a product that gives parents the ability to locate their teen's phone.
Sure, AT&T and other providers have services like FAMILY MAP but the accuracy of that is measured in units of miles ! No kidding.... the accuracy of FAMILY MAP in Dallas / Fort Worth is 1-2 miles. That makes it totally worthless. This is similar among other carriers.
Can TeleNav products give the functionality parents need for tracking teens ? This is a real and serious safety concern parents have. Surely something can be done to fill this need. If TeleNav provides a lite-version of TeleNav Track, they will bring in a new group of new users and they'll see people trade-up for that functionality.
By the way, our family all have the TeleNav Navigator and we love it.... it's the best Navigator on the market !!! |

We do offer a service (not advertised for tracking teens in general) called TelenavTrack which offers the ability to track a single or multiple devices at once. This service is provided through the Nextel/Sprint and ATT carriers. It will enable you to open a map on your very own customizable website which can provide a location of a device. Thanks.... I have it installed on her phone and love it ! We had a person in our Sunday school class lose their sister recently. She was murdered and it took them over 2 months to find her.
I decided that I would have the ability to track a phone or car for my daughter....no matter what.
The people at Telenav have been unbelievably supportive. Their customer service is incredible ! When AT&T had trouble getting things setup, the TN Customer Care specialist called them on a conference call and within a few min, we had it working perfect.
I am telling everyone about the Telenav Track PLUS service. It's amazingly accurate...to within a few feet. |
